They studied the rock for one whole year and found that it was different from other Martian rocks. The rock is older than other rocks they studied but its also mostly made of water. Carolyn McCarthy of New York and Diana DeGette of Colorado made a bill to ban high capacity magazines. "These devices are used to kill as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time possible, and we owe it to innocent Americans everywhere to keep them out of the hands of dangerous people," McCarthy said.   
I do not agree with her if you are going to kill someone you are killing them with anything you want. Their plan for this is bill to the reps. is to pass it and make a bill to ban assault weapons. I think this is important because if they ban guns people will murder with bats and stones and knifes. Also GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.

Armed Robbers hit Apple store on new years eve.
          In Paris on New Years Eve two robbers with masks on came in to the Apple store and stole 1.3 million of i- Phones and more. They went through boxes taking expensive things like i- Phone and i- Pods and they found what they were looking for.

Taxes are going up this week for everyone, it is a lot worse for the top earners! The new tax club That Obama has created it the most taxed nation in the world. With the income tax the people that are getting 400,000 and 450,000 are 40 percent of all federal income taxes.I think this is important because it shows us that the people that make a bunch of money get it hard when the taxes go up.            In one of these awful crashes l three people were killed in the crash in Ventura, Iowa, Wednesday evening. Earlier that day another medical helicopter crashed in Seminole, Oklahoma injuring all four people on board. I think this is important because if we don't fix this plane problem more people are going to die instead of getting the medical treatment they need.I also think this is important because if customers aren't coming to the hospitals they will lose money and go out of business and then we won't have hospitals any more.

Zoo count begins: No creature too small to count. 

This article was about the zoo census. The zoo census is a time that the zoo keepers are finding all the animals down to the littlest insect and counting them. They are recording them down with all their needs and getting them the things that they need. Ricky, a  rock hopper that was adopted by the zoo in 2011 by the zoo and might be getting a new friend or two. I think that this article is important because the people showing love and care to these animals and not just leaving them in their cages and not taking care of them. This is an example of an animal's good Samaritan. Those animals are counting on you.

                        Dave Bell has been outside looking at all Pinedale's lakes, rivers and ponds. Lately he has found that Fremont has froze clear by the edges but Fremont hasn't froze all the way. Many people are going out for ice-fishing and ice-skating. I think this is important because it is good to get outside while doing something you love and it is good to know that there are things to do besides siding on the couch in your home. Also it is important because normally Fremont does not freeze clear every year it is every 10 years normally.

A senior in Pennsylvania has to go with a rare skin disease that makes him have to go to the tanning salon everyday. He is the best basket ball player and gets about 20 hoops in one game but yet he hasn't got to celebrate with his team because he has to go into the tan bed at least 8 min a day.  I think this is important because if this is a rare disease why all of a sudden should he get it.              The Sony Playstation is a great system but personally I would chose the Xbox. The Playstation is a great device it has almost anything that you could want for a gaming console. It has a Blu-ray disk drive and a lot of games that you could want. Now the Xbox 720 will also have a Blu-ray player along with the games that I love. I think that this is important because no offense to the Playstation lovers but the Playstation is kind of crappy. The zoo in Oregon says that they are going to keep the female 300 pound baby even though they signed a contract saying that the elephant is going to be owned by California. The Oregon zoo says the elephant is going to live out her life within the walls of the Oregon zoo.I think this is important because if you sign a contract you can't back out of it when ever you feel like it. Another reason I think it is important is that you probably shouldn't take a baby elephant away from it's mother to a totally different zoo.

Guy Turcotte was released from jail  on Thursday. He was in jail since 2009 when he confessed to killing his children while they were sleeping  their beds. His ex-wife's little boy got stabbed 20 times with a knife. Her little girl got stabbed 19 times. The little boy died but the little girl is still alive. I think this is important because if we can't trust our parents and family than who can we trust? I also think this is important because  I think if you kill someone you should stay in jail.

Cliff (a two year old beagle) can sniff out C. difficile in patients. How does he do it you may ask, Cliff does this by smelling the differences in a person's stool. This was thought of by a nurse that learned the smell of C.difficile. Cliff's owner thought that this was a great idea and started to train Cliff. She turned the training into a game in the woods using a sampling of C.difficile. He now can smell this disease within 83% accuracy. This is important because it has saved many lives of people that have C.difficile. There are dogs that are training and learning what Cliff did. There are many different types of dogs that are made to help humans and this is one example. 26 6 Year Olders Die Trying to Go to School

20 Children Died in Newtown, Conn., School Massacre

        26 6 year olders died in Newton Conneticut trying to go to a normal day of school today. One teacher took her kids to the bathroom stalls and stood on them. She told them to be quiet so that the shooter wouldn't hear them. Every time the kids heard a gun shot she saw tears roll down each kids face and heard whimpers. She told them that everything would be okay and that the kids who were shot are up in heaven watching down on them.Her class survived and so did she. The janitors and teachers and staff sacrifced everything for the kids today. I think that this article is important because 26 innocent 6 year olds died becasue of stupid killer. I only have one question. How can you look at those little innocent kid's faces and shoot them, knowing that they had no reason to die? All they tried to do was go to school and learn.           On Friday morning Adam Lanza, 20 shot and killed 20 kids and 6 adults. He ran into the school and open fired on a class full of kids and the school principle. Kids run out of the building in tears of terror after the deaths of other kids. This is important because kids life's are in danger. Also a school is sou-post to be a safe zone for kids. There is really no way to stop these shooting.        911 text message service coming in May 15, 2014. In stead of calling 911 for help you can text them. In 2014 the cops will let people text them. All they have text is the problem and where you are. In 2013 They will have to teleology to do this but they want 90% of the population to do text in stead of calling.

 Two cloud leopards where sent to the San Diego zoo. They where sent their for a new breeding program  These leopards are dyeing out. they are being poached   because of their coats and there insides are good for medicine.
    I think that this is important because all animals are important to the ecosystem.For example when the people killed  all the wolves in yellow stone the ecosystem failed. By protecting and help reproducing  the leopards will help the ecosystem survive.

              In April 7 year old Emma Whitehead was a cancer patient when researchers reengineers experimented on her immune system so it would fight of the lymphoblastic leukemia. The people separated out her white blood cells and then used a disabled AIDS virus so the white blood cells could fight off the leukemia cells.I think this is important because it is very exciting that people figured out a way to solve some kinds of cancer. I also think this is important because if they keep trying to cure cancer eventually they will cure all kinds of cancer and more people will live!
