Recently Americas attention has been focused on the causes of increased gun violence especially particularly among children and teenagers. Video games can probably can take 25% of Americas gun violence but there are other things that cause gun violence. I think this is important because mostly drugs are to blame but also the way kids are raised in there childhood. A scientist from the University of Florida predicts that a large mosquito will be coming soon. It is about 1 inch long and is black and white. He also say that they will bite and the bite hurts really bad.I think that this is important because it lets people who live in Florida know and to be very careful this summer. A small town in Georgia may pass a law that it is mandatory to have a gun in ever house. If this town passes the law it will be one of two towns that have done this. This law would give Families the right to protect themselves without prosecution. Half of girls in South Sudan forced to marry

In Other countries girls under 18 are forced to marry people. These women are sold like cattle, they re sold to people that are at least 10 years older than them. One girl was sold to a man old enough to be her grand-father. She was beaten to death by this man because she refused to marry him. She was taken to her family and the man raped the girl in front of her family. It turns out that 39,000 girls are sold in one day in other countries Ike Egypt, or Arabia. I think this is important because people should marry who they want when they want. This is also important because its sad that people would beat and rape teens that are sold to 60 or older men. Its not fair that people would sell their children and then this happens there are only about 1,000 girls that actually got married at a young age and that survived until they were 18. A baby girl who was born with her heart outside of her body, went home January 24 after her heart was placed in the spot it should have been in . Docters say that when she grows older, she will need an internal shield protecting her heart and for another heart surgery. She went home with a pink protective shell to protect her organ. I think that this is important because docters performed an amazing surgery and was successful. It just shows what we can accomplish when things like this happen.

Deadly lion attack occurred after animal escaped cage, coroner says
On Wednesday March 6, a 24 year old volunteer was mauled by a lion that escaped from its cage. She was cleaning out another enclosure when the lion supposedly must have pulled open a with its paw. Investigators said that the lion broke her neck in one paw swipe and she quickly died. She loved the big cats and sometimes even posted pictures of them on her Facebook page, even the one that killed her. She died doing what she loved.
The reason that I think this is important is because we should make sure that all of our zoos and other exotic animal shelters are safe for people to enter and be safe. Another reason that I think this is important is because she was there to be kind and help the lion but if she had not been in the other enclosure when the sanctuary was closed this might not have happened.

Stephen Slevins spent 22 months in solitary confinement because he had a charge of drinking and driving. He was forgotten about in his sell and was left there for 2 years (from 2005-2007). He is now getting payed $15.5 million for his suffering. I think this is important because if we forget about someone we will have to pay for what they deserve. I also think this is important because this just leaves us more in dept for our mistakes.

Deadly lion attack

Deadly lion attack occurred after animal escaped cage, coroner says
Authorities are still trying to figure out what caused the lion to attack a volunteer at a private park in California. The 24 year old female died very quickly from a broken neck. One of of the officials says that the 24 year old Dianna Hanson was already dead when the lion was tossing her body around in the en closer. Apparently Dianna was not in the lions en closer she was in the exerciser/play area and the lion escaped from its en closer and sneaked up on her and killed her. I think this is important because the lions cage must not have been very well built because it got out of the cage so, we should make sure that all of the en closers are very secure. I also think this is important because the loin should not have attacked her so there must have been something wrong with it. (no pic)

A boy admitted he was a murder in Mexico. When he admitted he was taken to jail. HE told people he was good at shooting thing they thought that he meant other things not people. He can shoot how ever he wants.
I think this is important because kids like these don't have a chance to grow up they will just stick with what they did in their childhood. I also think this is important because we need to stop all the killing and things like that people are going to get mad and try to be mean to their kids and tell them not to do that kinds of thins. Diabetes has been getting worse over the past few years. The cost of diabetes in 2007 was $174 billion and in 2010 the cost was $245 billion. Dr. John Anderson said the cost of diabetes was increasing 8% per year. I think this is important because if the cost of diabetes keeps increasing the more money the government will have to give the hospitals and the more our country will fall into dept with other countries.I also think this is important because the more people getting diabetes, the more factories will close down and there will be almost no more candy!

A researcher from Duck university started a test or study using a computer the brain waves of two rats.What he did was put one rat in North Carolina and the other in Brazil.They had already found out that the can communicate when in the same place and they were curious if they could still communicate miles apart. I think that this is important because to be able to know the brain waves of a little rat could change history as we know it and the future could instantly change right before our own eyes.I also think that this is important because it lets use know that not only has are researchers gotten better but our lab tools, and we can only hope that they will get even better.

Many parents believe that banning their child from video games is a good thing, well this should change their mind. For a dyslexic child playing for 12 hours straight would let the learn more about reading than they would in a years worth of reading. A dyslexic child learns alot more from playing video games because their brain is working alot harder to figure out something in a video game. I think that this is important because children with dyslexia need more help in reading than the typical human so they should have more access to video games than the normal child. They die because nurses and docters don't have any light to see to help the mother give birth. But, Stachel found a solution. She created a suitcase of electricity for when things like that happen. I think that this article is important because lack of money keeps nurses and docters from buying or spending money on lights/electricity. I also think it's important because lots of children and women are dying because of the lack of money and electricity. Also, it's incredible that a women found a solution and can stop the death of babies and mothers.

I read an article about three new cockroaches that were found in China. " Until now, cockroaches of that genus had only been documented in Southeast Asia, never north of Vietnam." These cockroaches are not normal cockroaches but they are a species of giant cockroaches. They are yellow in color and can grow to be almost an inch and a half. I think that this article is important because any animal found is a step further in modern technology. I also think this is important because the cockroaches are a new species and maybe we could find a bigger or more amazing type of animal from this animal's data. Click HERE to read more.

The owner of a 3 year old Samoyed thinks on of the competitors killed her dog! She was about show her dog off when he finally died of the poison. It turns out that her dog was Poisoned with rat poison. She noticed that Cruz (the dog) had been acting strange for 4 days. I think this is important because this is extremely sad and upsetting. Its stupid that people would poison a dog to win a competition. That's cheating and that's wrong to do. Just recently scientists found the old dead king Richard`s heart! The heart had been observed with mercury,mint, frankincense and other good smelling plants and herbs. This was just like mummification, it was a well practice in those days. They sent the heart into the tomb with the king`s heart. Make sure that you keep in mind that he died in 1199. I think that this is important because it is amazing how well people knew how to do things especially that long ago. Richard age 13 found a way to scare the lions away from the cattle by making something that has flashy lights because he found that lions don't like flashy lights. He made it by putting led lights on posts by the cattle enclosure wired with a car battery. The cool thing about it all is that he wired it all by him self. He called his invention lion lights. This is important because he was questioned and he showed them wrong.
