          Diabetes has been getting worse over the past few years. The cost of diabetes in 2007 was $174 billion and in 2010 the cost was $245 billion. Dr. John Anderson said the cost of diabetes was increasing 8% per year. I think this is important because if the cost of diabetes keeps increasing the more money the government will have to give the hospitals and the more our country will fall into dept with other countries.I also think this is important because the more people getting diabetes, the more factories will close down and there will be almost no more candy!
