Asteroid Almost Hits Earth!

Whew! Big asteroid no longer threat to Earth

     For a few years there has been a big asteroid that's been going to it the earth for 20 years. The asteroid has been named Apophis and just missed earth by nine million miles. NASA is saying asteroids might bee the reason dinosaurs died. People have been worried about it for a while because if it hit it would have caused a tsunami. If it would have hit land it wouldn't have ended the world but it would have caused allot of damage to where it hit. I think this is important because we are slowly finding more about our planet. We might have found out the reason why dinosaurs have died when they did. I also think this is important because know we know that we will be safe from an asteroid that would have killed allot of people. To learn more click here.
