Almost Endangered

Guyana vows to protect jaguars as the cats are a near-threatened species

Their species is very threatened at the moment. The conjoined group is trying to make a "jaguar corridor" or a special place for the jaguars to live. I think that this article is important because there are already so many animals that are extinct and we do not want to increase the numbers of extinct animals. I also think that this is important because if we keep letting poachers and other threatening people near animals then they will go extinct and eventually we may not have any more exotic animals left in our amazing world.
