Cancer killing less people

More lives being saved: Cancer death rates drop 20%

Cancer death rates have dropped 20% between 1991 and 2009. In 1991 215.1 deaths happened and in 2009 173.1 deaths happened because of cancer. The ACS thinks that 580,000 people will die of cancer in 2013. I think this is important because we don't know if the deaths of cancer will increase or decrease. I also think this is important because it said that the cancer death rate decreased 20% so that could mean that doctors could be finding cures for more types of cancer!
