Baby Born With Heart Oustide of Her Body

Miracle baby born with heart OUTSIDE of her chest goes home with help of a pink shield to keep it in place

      A baby girl who was born with her heart outside of her body, went home January 24 after her heart was placed in the spot it should have been in . Docters say that when she grows older, she will need an internal shield protecting her heart and for another heart surgery. She went home with a pink protective shell to protect her organ. I think that this is important because docters performed an amazing surgery and was successful. It just shows what we can accomplish when things like this happen.
Modern medicine: Doctors at Texas Children's were able to successfully place the newborn's heart back into her chest during a six-hour surgery
