Police recover ancient Egyptian sphinx in Italy

Yesterday on December 6,2012 police found an old Egyptian sculpture. This artifact almost went through the black market. It was found on the outside of Rome just last week. This could be as old as the fourth century B.C. I think that this is important because we can learn a lot about early times from this sculpture. I also think that this is important because we could learn about what the Egyptians did to make this or were influenced by it.
