Solar-Powered Plane Set to Begin Historic Cross-Country Flight Friday

A solar powered plane is going to fly across the United States May 3rd. IT is going to fly the whole way with out using any gas.In mid may it is expected to have gone half way and it is going to take it's second leg of the trip. It's expected to make it back to where it started in June or early July. I think that this is important because we may be saving a lot of money not having to pay for gas. Also because we need to make sure that it is going to work and the plane isn't going to crash while they are up in air.
