Heroic Cocker Spaniel saves Mount Carmel man from fire

I'm sure everyone has heard of the fires in California, the large fires that stretch across California. There was a man that was calmly sleeping with his 12 year old Cocker Spaniel. Randy (the person) felt his dog nudging him and licking his face. He woke up and he smelled smoke so he got up and he looked out his window. The fire was right up to is doorsteps. He rushed out of his house with his dog and ran to his car and drove away and called the police. I think this is important because if Randy's dog wasn't there Randy would have died. This is just another reason that dogs really are mans, multiple dogs have saved peoples life. Dogs deserve respect just  like humans.
