Florida had 26 attacks, Hawaii had ten attacks, California and South   Carolina each had five attacks, North Carolina had two attacks, Georgia had one attack along with Massachusetts, Oregon, New York, and Puerto Rico. One person in California died because of a shark attack. I think that this is important because some attacks are provoked and because sharks are so territorial someone could easily be hurt.             People gave collage students vodka with normal soda and diet soda. The diet soda got to their head faster by 20%. The people found out that adding sugar to your alcohol makes it worse for you to drink.
            I think this is important because if we put diet coke in alcohol people will get drunk and start fights. that is how killing starts. A metor crashed in Russia's  capitol on Friday. 726 people said that they needed medical help. Deputy Health Minister Igor Kagramanyan said 571 people had sought medical help, with 34 of them hospitalized, according to state-news agency Itar-Tass.             Emily Bauer's breathing tube was removed at 1:15 p.m December 16 while her family was standing by her side in her last moments. A miracle happened after her body was flooded with morphine and she was still alive in the morning. She was 16 and her and her friends bought it at a gas station when the drug was packaged as potpourri. I think this is important because lots of people could die if they take drugs that don't look like drugs. I also think this is important because how she survived is a miracle because she went over 12 hours without being on oxygen and medication.  A lava flow is still inching it's way down a volcano in Chile, nearly after it erupted a year ago. Dozens missing as Bangladesh ferry capsizes

                  Dozens of people have gone missing after Bangladesh ferry capsized on the Meghna River, near the Bangladesh capital. At least 112 people were killed.          A retired Alabama trucker shot a bus driver  and took a kindergartener into a underground bunker. Jimmy Lee Dykes, 65, took five year old Ethan into an underground bunker 4 feet down. SWAT teams have been negotiating with the Dykes to let him go. Also we need to make are buses a safe place to be.    Outside of a school bus a gunman boarded and killed the bus driver. He took two children. One escaped but the 5-year-old boy was not so lucky. A 44 year old man named robins was mistakenly freed. he was sent to jail for murdering a 21 year old man who was trying to stop a street fight between robins and his wife Nicole. He was found in  kankakee in a par of pants and a shirt with brand new shoes. Robins is now in jail  for a 60 year sentence ad hopefully will stay there. Cats rescued.

161 Cats Rescued from Colorado Home

  In Colorado there was the largest animal rescue.  There was 161 cats all shoved into a crate and had been in the crate for multiple hours. The rescuers got the call at two in the morning and left at six in the morning with the cats. It took 13 teams of rescuers to get all the cats. The cats weren't too abused but some of them are losing their eye sight. I think this is important because this is sad that people would do this to animals. Also that people are not realizing how important animals are to us. They help us hunt and do other sports related things. Some animals even help us survive.

             January of 2011 James Curry was diagnosed with non- Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 25. He said that the real fight didn't begin until after he had already gotten rid of the cancer. He goes to the doctor to have a week long test that tells him if the cancer has come back. I think this is important because if he fought of cancer that means the doctors are getting closer to a cure. I also think this is important because if he thought that the after part was hard and the worst part of having the cancer was vomiting then that means people in the future might be able to get rid of cancer fast, sort of like the flu or a cold.

My article was about the 10th anniversary of the Columbia space shuttle. It was said that the shuttle had a wing damage during takeoff. The shuttle was within ten minutes of landing in Florida. The shuttle disintegrated over Texas. This is important because NASA needed to be more careful with the space shuttles and the astronauts because of what happened to the Challenger before this. This is the remembrance of the Columbia of February 1, 2003. Puppy Bowl Sunday: Servile of the cutest.
      On Sunday people did the puppy bowl. What they do is get people to come in and help little puppies out. On Facebook they got 8.4 million viewers. The puppies will get new toys and water to drink and food t eat.
      I think this is important because I think we should help these poor puppies. Its not there fault they are stuck in a cage all day. people should let people let these puppies play and have fun. In my opinion the cuter the puppy is the more attention I will give it and it has to play and look fun to play with for me to play with it. For more info click here.

Snowmobiler Caleb Moore dies a week after crash

       
                         25 year old Caleb Moore died on thursday a week after a crash in X Games. His crash and death set many concerns about the saftey of the X Games. "He will be missed and never forgotten quotes his family. He was attempting to do a flip in the air when his machine wouldn't rotate properly and Caleb's chest and head was pressured by the snowmachine. I think that this article is important becasue Caleb died beause of a machine difficulty and I think that the X Games should have been more careful with checking the
machines. Also becasue Caleb probably should have had more sheild and protection on him.

Is it game over for Nintendo?

                       Nintendo may go out. The Wii U pretty much backfired. So far Nintendo has only sold about 3.06 million dollars since it came out last November. Many people are saying that Nintendo needs to change their gameplan. Others are saying that Nintendo should make a new best selling game. I think that this is important because I personally like Nintendo products.
