I read the article Taking the Kids -- and lighting up the holidays . It was about the parents who only take them selves on vacation and leaving the kids with grandma. It persuaded me to tell my parents to take me the next time they go on vacation. I think this article is important because parents should take their kids on vacation when they go the next time.            Yesterday an article was posted about some scientists who found one of the most ancient insects on the Earth. They were looking in a cave in Spain when they cam across the old creatures. There were three different types of creatures,Pygmarrhopalites maestrazgoensis, P. cantavetulae and Oncopodura fadriquei  but they all usually have a tail that they can "spring" away from danger on. I think that this is important because we could learn a lot from these prehistoric creatures. These prehistoric creatures may also spread diseases to our world!                         Boise, Idaho policemen arrest a 22 year old man after finding a zoo monkey dead over the weekend. Shortly after, police scare away other intdurders. In my article it talked about sharks. The article began to make me have a interest toward sharks. The article talked about the sharks and their attacks being so slim and how the're being killed off by us. The number of sharks being killed by humans out numbers the number of humans being killed by sharks. But we still kill them anyway. How fair is that? This article is important because one day these sharks might go extinct. Then a major part of the food chain is taken out. Sharks eat fish, turtles, and the bigger ones eat dolphins. If the sharks go extinct the dolphins that eat the fish will grow in numbers and then the fish might grow so few that the super markets won't have any sea fish left. See what I mean. I read an article on the Loggerhead sea turtles being laid a few months before Sandy and then hatched right before Sandy started. Some eggs were laid late and either were washed out to sea, the sand was washed away and they were eaten by land predator, or they were hatched an then drown by sea water. The teams were able to save many turtles but about fifty nests were just left behind by the hurricane. I think this article is important because the entire Loggerhead turtle population might go extinct. But another hurricane might come again and destroy another population. Then another hurricane comes and another and another. Then one day the turtles are gone and your great great grand children ask your great grand children what a turtle is. "That is impossible!" you say. But I say that that is very possible. We need to change all of this by helping save the turtles! Click HERE to read more!

There was at least 4,604 nest on the beach of South Caroline.There where nest on the beach of Florida. 50 were distorted which means a bunch of turtles were killed.
    I think this is important because there is not a lot of turtle in the world. I posted this post because it will teach kids and adults to protect wild life and turtles. 2-Ton 'Alien' Horned Dinosaur Discovered

        Canadian scientist found a new dinosaur fossil that walked the earth 80 million years ago. This dinosaur is a distant cousin of the triceratops called Xenoceratops foremostensis. This triceratops is one of the oldest of its kind. I think this is important because dinosaurs are proof that things walked the earth before we did. To me this is also important because dinosaurs are very amazing and cool and its amazing that we found another dinosaur.

Angry Birds meets Star Wars

Angry birds is partnering with Lucasfilms for the new Angry birds star wars game. The game is about rebel birds fight the evil imperial pigs.In the game players will be able to wield a lightsaber and use the force. There are more than 80 levels.Why i think this is important because if there is more downloads and i know there will be people wont be going outside and playing sports and stuff.

Rare Mammoth Found in Great Condition

Just 4 hours ago on Friday, scientists in France found a nearly complete woolly mammoth skeleton. This mammoth lived between 50,000 to 200,000 years ago.Scientists think he died by drowning or sunking in the mud. I think this is important because if we keep finding these amazing discoveries, we can learn more and more about the past. I also think this is important because if we study the bones we can figure out how old it was when it died and that stuff.

Tentacled Snakes?

One day a group of Tentacled snakes were found in Smithsonain"s zoo. There was eight snakes that had been born.  The zoo keepers said that thy are not endangered but misunderstood. The tentacles are right next to there noses. It makes it so they can feel the vibration of fish or animals by them.
