US shark attacks hit highest level since 2000

     Shark attacks are at an all time high. Florida had 26 attacks, Hawaii had ten attacks, California and South   Carolina each had five attacks, North Carolina had two attacks, Georgia had one attack along with Massachusetts, Oregon, New York, and Puerto Rico. One person in California died because of a shark attack. I think that this is important because some attacks are provoked and because sharks are so territorial someone could easily be hurt. I also think that this is important because a person might just be mistaken for a seal and the whole thing could be a misunderstanding.  Click HERE to learn more
