In 2004 Emily Lastinger was just 3 when she died of the flu. She would spike a fever, recover, and run around. One night she started vomiting and the next morning Emily's mother screamed from up stairs and said Emily had stopped breathing.I think this is important because it shows that our minor sicknesses are just getting worse. It also important because if we don't make cures for these bugs their just going to get worse and more people are going to die.
