Just recently scientists found the old dead king Richard`s heart! The heart had been observed with mercury,mint, frankincense and other good smelling plants and herbs. This was just like mummification, it was a well practice in those days. They sent the heart into the tomb with the king`s heart. Make sure that you keep in mind that he died in 1199. I think that this is important because it is amazing how well people knew how to do things especially that long ago. This is also important because I think that we can learn a lot about preservation from these people.
